Members of the Criminology Research Council
The Criminology Research Act 1971 provides that the Council is to consist of nine members, comprising a representative of the Commonwealth and of each state and territory. The Commonwealth representative is appointed by the Attorney-General and the state and territory representatives are appointed by the Attorney-General upon the nomination of the appropriate state or territory minister.
As at 7 March 2008, the members of the Council were:
